Classic Central European cuisine consists of a main side dish, often also called a filling side dish, then salad and/or vegetables and meat/fish. And since we were children, we have learned that there are three main side dishes: rice, pasta and potatoes. Which brings us to our topic, root crops. Do we really need more than potatoes? What are the distinguishing features of oca and yacon? Why do they enrich the garden and kitchen alongside potatoes? How are they grown and how can we produce and sell young plants?

Gardeners gossip, about the IPM that doesn't happen and about the spring that is sure to come

Gardeners also like to gossip, maybe even a lot. That's what you have to do when you've got your hands in the dirt and your eyes on the ground for the rest of the year... Seriously, a little gossip is a must. In this first edition of Lubera EdiblesĀ® Gardener's Radio, Frederik Vollert and Markus Kobelt naturally talk about Corona and the coming gardening season, about the current green trend - and other future trends and also about Lubera EdiblesĀ® projects.
